Apprenticeship as a Warehouse Clerk and Warehouse Logistics Specialist

If you want to do something after school where you can see at the end of the day what you've achieved, the warehouse is a good place to be. As a warehouse clerk or warehouse logistics specialist, you receive goods, check them, store them correctly, put together orders and get shipments ready for dispatch. In the GV Trucknet group this happens for very different customers — from the automotive industry to textile handling.

The difference between the two occupations lies mainly in the depth: warehouse clerks learn the operational processes over two years, while the warehouse logistics specialist adds planning, key figures and process optimisation in the third year.

Apprenticeship duration: Warehouse clerk: two years. Warehouse logistics specialist: three years. The two-year qualification can be credited towards the three-year one.
