HGV driver jobs (category CE) at the GV Trucknet group

As a truck driver at GV Trucknet you do not disappear into an anonymous planning office — you drive for one of the owner-managed haulage companies in the group. The profiles differ a lot. Große-Vehne Speditions GmbH and NTL Logistik GmbH in Kornwestheim run automotive transport, scheduled network traffic and national and international long-distance work. HSV Systemverkehre GmbH in Friedewald bundles transport services for customers in the shipping sector. Große-Vehne Marsberg GmbH works in the Hochsauerland region, Guggemos Logistik GmbH in Mengkofen-Mühlhausen combines automotive transport with local and long-distance runs, and in Mönchengladbach Ernst Schruff Spedition handles textile distribution while Große-Vehne Mönchengladbach covers international routes.

That gives you a real choice: a fixed local round with a nightly return home, predictable scheduled network runs, or international work across borders. If something breaks down on the road, the group's own workshop backs you up. Where a job needs an extra qualification you do not hold yet, we train you in-house.

What to expect

  • Driving articulated and drawbar combinations in local, long-distance or scheduled network transport
  • Loading and unloading, including correct load securing
  • Checking the vehicle before departure and reporting defects to the group's own workshop
  • Handling paperwork: consignment notes, delivery notes, digital records via the driver card
  • Complying with driving and rest times and with delivery slots at customers and plants
  • Direct contact with the planning office at your site

What you should bring

  • Category CE licence (category C is enough for some rigid local work)
  • Driver card and a valid Driver CPC entry (Code 95)
  • Knowledge of load securing and of driving and rest times
  • For automotive and JIS work: reliability with tight delivery slots
  • For international routes: willingness to be away for several days
  • Enough German to handle paperwork and talk to the planning office

Common questions about this job

Do I need category CE?

For most runs, yes, because the fleet is mainly articulated and drawbar combinations. Some local roles only need category C. Each vacancy states what it requires.

What is Code 95 and do I need it?

Code 95 is the Driver CPC entry proving your professional driver qualification or periodic training. It has to be valid on the day you drive. If yours is about to expire, tell us at the interview.

Will I be away overnight or home in the evening?

Both exist in the group. Scheduled network and regional distribution runs follow a predictable rhythm, automotive transport usually runs in shifts, and international routes take several days. The site determines the profile.

What happens if I break down on the road?

The group runs its own workshop. You report the fault directly and the workshop organises the repair or a replacement vehicle.
