Warehouse work looks different at every GV Trucknet site, because the customers are different. Große-Vehne Kontraktlogistik GmbH in Kornwestheim works exclusively for the automotive industry: from JIS transport, sequencing and pre-assembly to complex assembly and on-site services at manufacturers' plants. GVZ Logistikzentrum Kornwestheim is the central logistics provider for the Stuttgart region. GV Logistik GmbH in Mönchengladbach manages around 40,000 m² for textile customers — labelling, ironing and order picking. Große-Vehne Assembly GmbH in Bremen combines warehousing and production supply with the manufacture of sub-assemblies.

Across the group there are 175,000 m² of warehouse space. For you that means clear directions to grow in: order picking, forklift work, goods inspection or assembly. We train on the job.

What to expect

  • Goods receipt, put-away, order picking and dispatch
  • Working with a scanner and the warehouse management system
  • Operating handling equipment (counterbalance and reach trucks, pallet trucks)
  • Checking quantity and quality and documenting discrepancies
  • Depending on the site: sequencing, pre-assembly or textile processing (labelling, ironing)
  • Following health and safety rules and keeping the warehouse tidy

What you should bring

  • Warehouse experience or a qualification in warehouse logistics
  • A forklift licence for forklift roles
  • Willingness to work shifts, especially in automotive supply and multi-shift operations
  • Care and accuracy when working with the scanner and the warehouse system
  • Physical stamina for picking and assembly work

Is shift work involved?
